Electrically stimulated migration of silver ions has been used to fabricate microlens arrays in K8 glasses. A theoretical model has been developed for the dependence of the parameters of the microlenses on the technological regimes for fabricating them. These microlens arrays were used in Shack–Hartmann sensors to determine the wave-front distortions.
