Aberration properties of a thin catadioptric objective

Parametric synthesis equations in analytic form were obtained, and an aberration analysis was performed, for a catadioptric component consisting of a single lens with a back reflecting surface, and a catadioptric component consisting of two cemented and two uncemented lenses with a reflecting surface on the back of the second lens.
