Abstract:

This paper discusses how the statistical characteristics of an object laser pulse affect the efficiency with which the information encoded in its temporal shape is reproduced. The dependence of the information-flux density in stimulated photon echo on the area of the object pulse is determined in two-level and three-level systems.
