Abstract:

A review is given of functional tests used in modern thermal vision, and the principles of their development and use are presented. Special attention is devoted to the rarely used alcohol test on the epidermis. Data of fundamental studies with an alcohol test are presented with a theoretical survey of the regions of their use in the clinic and a diagnostic interpretation of the results, taking into account the patient’s individual adaptation–compensatory reserve.
