Abstract:

This paper presents a generalized spectrofluorescence analysis scheme that makes it possible to estimate not only the quantitative DNA concentration in a sample, but also the variation in its primary and spatial structure by using a system of several specially chosen fluorophores. The paper discusses ways of using this system to rapidly estimate the degree of microbiological contamination of samples and the individual radiosensitivity of living organisms, as well as the genotoxicity of various products, drugs, environmental factors, etc. (including when they act jointly).

Keywords:

fluorescent DNA analysis, fluorophores in DNA, biotesting
