Abstract:

A study of the photolysis of Chicago Sky Blue 6B diazo dye in aqueous solutions containing zinc nitrate and samarium nitrate was carried out. It is shown that the presence of zinc nitrate and samarium nitrate in solution alters the photolysis mechanism and sharply increases its rate.
