Abstract:

The goal of this paper is to develop an optical system with discrete variation of the fields of view for the video channel of a binocular colposcope developed at JSC “Krasnogorsky Zavod.” The resolving power must be at least 100mm1 over the entire field of view. The overall dimensions must make it possible to mount the system in the commercially available housing of the model KnB-04LED Zenit without changing its design. The first-order properties are calculated for the system of interest. The design parameters were synthesized and optimized, and the tolerances of the optical elements were calculated by modeling in the Zemax program. This provided an optical system with achromatic correction in the range from 0.436 to 0.656 µm, using a limited list of types of optical glasses with low selling price. Taking tolerances into account, the system has a resolving power of 250mm1 at the center of the field of view and 130mm1 at the edge.
