This article is devoted to methods and facilities developed at NPO GIPO for fabricating and monitoring aspheric items, including those developed in recent years. These methods have been widely used in piece production and medium-scale fabrication of several hundred forms of aspheric items, have been incorporated into a number of plants in the optics industry, and meet modern requirements on the production of accurate aspheric lenses and mirrors for the most varied purposes - from condensers to astrooptics.
