This paper proposes a mathematical model of a scene for constructing methods for the joint interpretation of several of its images. The goal of the interpretation is to detect objects on the scene from their geometrical attributes. The main elements of the model are the pixel, the object, its zone of interest, and the image. A random distance is used to compare pixels described by random vector quantities.
