It is a fairly complex problem to measure the parameters of femtosecond pulses in the spectral range from the UV to the IR without changing the type of measurement system or significantly readjusting it. This paper describes a study of the possibilities of solving it by means of the multiphoton-absorption effect in optical materials that are transparent in a broad spectral range. The parameters of femtosecond pulses are measured in the UV (from 230nm), the visible, and the IR (all the way to 3000nm) by means of a proposed combined correlation device that measures the two-photon absorption effect in a natural diamond crystal.
