Abstract:

This paper summarizes the experience of many years of use of thermal vision for diagnosing isolated damage to the peripheral nerves of the upper extremities, associated with fractures of the long tubular bones at various intervals from the time of trauma. Using this pathology as an example, the stages of the improvement of thermal-vision diagnosis with quick analysis are presented, up to modern techniques capable of determining the number of impaired nerves and the degree of damage to their neural conductivity, as well as refining the role of adaptational or compensatory mechanisms in the formation of clinical thermal-vision symptoms.

Keywords:

thermal vision, damage to the peripheral nerves, techniques for thermal-vision diagnosis, functional tests
