Abstract:

Subject of research. Manufacturing of aspheric lenses. Aim of study. The development of manufacturing technology for large-sized aspheric lenses made using the small tool method. The method includes a preliminary shaping of aspheric and spherical surfaces, a polishing of the aspheric surface made us-ing the small tool method, a manufacturing of a special technological mount for the lens that allows polishing of the spherical surface, an intermediate centering of the aspheric surface in the technological mount, a shaping of the spherical surface that is centered relative to basic surfaces of the technological mount, a polishing of the spherical surface, a mounting of the lens in a working mount and a centering of the lens in the working mount with a polishing of basic sur-faces of the mount. Main results. An analysis of the dependence of the lens centering error from the conic constant, the focal ratio and the lens diameter has been done. The manufacturing technology for large-sized aspheric lenses has been developed and implemented. Practical significance. The developed technology has been used in the making of a high resolution infrared objective for an optoelectronic system of Earth remote sensing.
