The principal ways in which radioluminescence sources are used in photometry are as reference sources and as strong sources. Data are given on the emission spectra of a typical set of sources that is being developed at the St. Petersburg Technological Institute and that has been partially released under [technical specification] TU 6942-254-02068479-05. This set of about forty sources covers the spectral range from 120 to 1020 nm. The reference sources of the set have a photon flux intensity of 106–109 с–1, with an intensity falloff of 1–3% per year. The characteristics are given, along with examples of the use of strong photoluminescence and radioelectroluminescence sources.
