This paper describes the formation of various optically absorbent, thermally insulating composite materials based on hollow oxide microspheres embedded in a variety of polymer matrices, with lead sulfide as an absorbing pigment. It is shown that the coatings developed have a low reflection coefficient (2%–10%) in the visible and near infrared.
