Abstract:

Athermalization methods used in optical systems in thermal imaging devices are analyzed. Various methods of passive athermalization are considered that involve the use of structural elements with different temperature coefficients of linear expansion, as well as methods of active athermalization involving controlled axial displacement of one of the optical elements.
