Abstract:

This paper discusses a mathematical model of the transmission of light in dielectric tubes intended for targeted transport of laser radiation and the shaping of light beams with a cross section  of several hundred micrometers. A wave description of a light field in inhomogeneous media of general form is used to describe these processes.
