A compact photoelectric sync-pulse sensor that generates 6250 pulses in one turn of the scanning element has been developed for element-by-element synchronization of a two-dimensional thermal-vision image with subsequent display on a monitor. A block diagram of the device and the functional layout of the line-synchronization channel are presented, the signal shape is shown at characteristic points, and the type of modulator-interrupter is described. The design and technological features are pointed out. A sample has been fabricated and tested in the temperature range ±60°.
