Two scenarios of the interaction of codirectional femtosecond pulses with different spectral compositions in a transparent isotropic medium with normal dispersion and nonlinearity have been identified. When the spectral broadening of pulses separated at the input to the medium in time and frequency is inadequate for their spectra to overlap, the interaction strengthens the self-focusing of each pulse, and the pulses propagate independently after they interact. If the spectra of the pulses overlap as a result of broadening, they form a single spectral and field structure, which then does not separate. It is shown that a quasi-regular sequence of supershort pulses can be formed on the axis of such a structure.
