Abstract:

This paper describes a shipborne lidar layout intended for studying the sea in the interests of ecology and bathymetry. The results of full-scale observations by means of lidar of the upper layers of the sea and its bottom are presented. It is shown to be possible to detect scattering formations in water and to record the sea-bottom profile at a depth greater than 50m.
