This paper proposes a layout for constructing a multifunction optical-radar system that makes it possible to combine IR radar and laser radar in one device by structurally combining the optical, mechanical, and optoelectronic parts of different functional modules of the system. The IR radar is capable of operating in both a circular-coverage and a sector-coverage regime, while the laser radar has its optical receiver channel in common with the IR radar. The main optomechanical modules of the system are equipped with control units and have programmable drives and current-state sensors, and this makes it possible to reset the functions of the system by computer, depending on the problems to be solved by it.
