Abstract:

This paper shows that an x-ray-fluorescence analyzer can be used to monitor the quality of the results of laser cleaning of the surface of historical monuments from contaminants and natural deposits. The proposed approach can be recommended for practical restoration of exterior monuments, using lasers.
