Abstract:

We calculate the signals of rod bipolar cells under pulsed illumination of the receptive field in the range of 0.02–10 photons per receptor. The calculations are performed based on a model considering the negative feedback of the first synapse with receptors through a horizontal cell. The calculation results are compared with experiment results.

Keywords:

synapse rod - rod bipolar, negative feedback of the first synapse with rods through a horizontal cell
